I Have a Question for a Board Moderator

You know, it's funny that CH mentions a Viking from the 13th warrior movie. I kinda pictured another Viking warrior from the same party (personality-wise), but not the one she invisioned.

The more I read about the character Eric though, the more I pictured (physically) a really young version of Sting ...like "The Police" days. He was SO hot!

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm FULL of eye candy now. I can fantasize all night on this.

Does anyone else have comparisons for the characters?

As a woman on the more mature side, I think Vladimir Kulich is still looking GOOD!

You are not alone, BigMama. I'm younger and I think Vladimir Kulich is quite hot. I really like his pictures with the short hair, too. He is very "inspirational."

I have GOT to watch "The 13th Warrior"...

I have searched the boards, and I have to admit that I am not very good at searching . . . I am trying to see if anyone has ever posted an outline of the time frame including references to specific/estimated months in which the books take place. Thanks!

I don't think there's anything quite that elaborate, bob's kitten. Have you searched using timeline?

I'd also ask in the fellow posters thread, just in case. Someone may have done it just on their own and might be willing to share.

Here's a helpful post:

DUD-late spring/early summer
LDID-early fall
CD--early December
DTTW-late December
DAAD-New Years-January
DD-warm weather/spring-March
ATD--after Katrina/middle to late September
FDTW-October
DAG (tentative)-after Christmas

Actually, DTTW was early January, and we also know now that DAG is set in January. Also, I believe DAAD was late January.

Thanks j9 - this is exactly what I was looking for.

This is a slightly more detailed timeline, if you're obsessed with annoying details, like I am.

Dead Until Dark
4-6 weeks - Late spring/early summer 2004

Sookie's 26th birthday
Thursday, 1 July, 2004

Living Dead in Dallas
4 1/2 - 5 weeks - Early fall 2004
("Several months" since Bill & Sookie's relationship began)

Club Dead
12 days in mid-December
(Approximately Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, 7/8/9 December thru Monday, 20 December 2004, based on Christmas dates, not correct full moon dates [which actually occurred over Christmas that year, however, CD was written before Hurricane Katrina set the years in stone].)

Dead to the World
Eight or nine days in early January
(Wednesday, 29 December or Thursday, 30 December 2004 thru Friday, 7 January 2005)

Dead as a Doornail
13 days in late January and early February
(Monday, 24 January thru Saturday, 5 February 2005)

Hadley dies again
Second week of February
(About one month before "One Word Answer")

"One Word Answer"
Second week of March

Definitely Dead
11 days in late March
(About two weeks after "OWA," six weeks after Hadley's death)

Sookie's 27th birthday
Friday, 1 July, 2005

All Together Dead
Third and fourth weeks of September
(Ending Wednesday, 28 September, about 2 weeks prior to FDtW)

From Dead to Worse
Nearly 3 weeks in October
(Saturday, 8 October thru Wednesday, 26 October 2005, with the takeover happening on the 13th)

Dead and Gone
Early January 2006
(2 1/2 months after takeover)

Yeah!! Now I don't have to create one; although, now I have to find something else to keep me occupied until May. Thank you for your posts.
